Effect of Healing Program for Children of Alcoholics

Abstract
The research goal which sees there is that goal examines in emotional stability and self-respect feeling of the children applies the group activity program for the healing of the children of alcoholics and an Donald Winnicott¡¯s objective relations theory and affects. The subjects in this study, made up of the children of members registered for K alcohol counseling center, were qualified as between the age of 12 and 14 with consideration of the physical and emotional development phase. The study proceeded in a way of intensive program during 3 days. After 3 years, they would be examined through a follow-up survey. The first goal is to know the change in self-esteem, depression, anxiety, hostility after executing cognitive-behavioral program. The second goal is to develop a new program for healing the children of alcoholics. The pre test-post test result in the children of alcoholics was of statistical significance for depression(p=.033), anxiety(p=.032), hostility(p=.049). The result of a follow-up survey during 3 years shows that children of alcoholics adapted themselves to school by the good object meeting, emotional support, or meaning of life, which indicated the K camp program had been effective for 3 years. The healing program is very useful in developing program for the children of alcoholics. The program can throw open the door to healing their spiritual injuries caused by insufficient support from their parents through meeting good person. The program raises the scores of outer self-esteem in the children of alcoholics but isn¡¯t of statistical significance. The result shows that the program can take effect on emotional approach toward the children of alcoholics in the light of the reduction of depression, anxiety, hostility.
